Discover end-use parts suitable for food, public water and chemical contact

Additive Manufacturing is quickly making waves in the consumer products sector.

3D printing can help manufacturers beat the competition to market with fast design cycles in the consumer products industry by taking a product from design to prototype to end-use much more quickly than traditional methods.

When low-volume production is required, 3D print production can offer cost-effective and superior results as tooling costs are eliminated.

It is also an excellent solution when custom parts or components are required with high geometric complexity.

Working alongside our team of 3D manufacturers+, products can be heavily customised to meet the needs of each customer.

At Ricoh 3D, we worked alongside Future Engineering Developments to help bring three new innovative atomiser devices to market with volume 3D printing.

The designs, the brainchild of inventor Steve Rix, had highly complex geometries, meaning it would have been very difficult, if not impossible, to manufacture them by using any method other than 3D printing.

Furthermore, Ricoh 3D was able to secure WRAS approval in order to qualify polypropylene’s resistance to water ingress, which means the water can be safely returned to the water table.

Our team of experts are on hand to advise on optimising designs so that they are AM ready. That means everything from added complexity, selecting the right material and consolidating parts. We have the experience to bring your vision to life.

Why choose Ricoh 3D?

We have the experience of bringing products to market in a timely and cost-effective manner. We’ll work alongside you and react to your needs – whether that is full design support, or simple material advice.
