• Most widely used SLS material on the marketplace
  • Crisp white material particularly suited for high aesthetic models
  • Well-balanced mechanical properties making it suited to general use
  • Approved for food contact (FDA)
  • Biocompatibility and high abrasion resistance allows its use for movable part connections and prosthetics
  • Ability to produce large single parts on Ricoh SLS system
  • Parts can be sandblasted, smoothed, painted, joined and dyed

Layer thickness

  • 0.1 (mm)

Colour

  • White

Support material

  • None

Hollow structure

  • This is possible
  • • At least one 10mm diameter hole is required to remove the support material. Preferably a minimum of 2 if geometry allows.
  • • It may not be possible to remove powder inside the cavity due to the shape of the model.

Minimum reproducible dimensions

  • ≥ 0.8mm approx

Recommended offset/clearance for assemblies

  • ≥ 0.3mm distance is recommended.

Texture / feel

  • The surface has a slightly rough texture

Application fields

  • Simple jigs, architectural models, high-functioning or high-aesthetic prototypes

Other SLS Materials

  • PA6

PA6 commonly used for interior and exterior automotive component
  • Automotive part: full-scale oil sump

    PA6 GB

PA6 GB used for parts that require resistance to heat
  • Industrial application: rotary atomiser

    Polypropylene

Superior purity which offers impressive versatility for a multitude of applications
